RUTKA: A NEW MUSICAL
RUTKA is new indie-rock musical based on the internationally-acclaimed book, Rutka's Notebook. With a powerful and moving musical score, an all-star creative team, and a stellar cast of mostly teens, RUTKA is now playing its World Premiere at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park!
We are thrilled to support this dynamic new show as a new way to oppose antisemitism and promote tolerance!
We are gathering our team of cheerleaders and champions, and if—like us—you want to:
Find innovative ways to combat hate and antisemitism
Amplify empowering stories of (Jewish) resistance
Activate young folks to stand UP rather than stand by
Disrupt the antisemitism in our education systems
Support new art that opens hearts and minds
Be a part of a big, bold, Broadway-bound musical

Rutka Laskier kept a diary while housed with her family in the Jewish ghetto in Bedzin, Poland in 1943. Filled with typical teen drama, her writings turn to resistance as Rutka and her friends find ways to fight back. Knowing she would likely never return, and with help from a Polish friend, Rutka hid her diary in the hope that her story would live on.
Help us ensure that it will.

LET EVYATAR GO NOW
On Oct. 7, terrorists abducted Evyatar David from the Nova Music Festival. Evyatar is just 23. A music-lover and musician, we embrace Evyatar as a kindred spirit of Salon 60.
Our West Orange community has adopted Evyatar and his family as part of The MirYam Institute Adopt-a-Hostage Campaign.
We pray for the release of all of those being held and used as pawns against their will.
